Katana is a singer, songwriter, speaker, actress, philanthropist and business woman.

Katana Natasha was greatly inspired by her Father, who was an accomplished dancer/director in Hollywood. By the age of four, to the amazement of many, Katana was standing on coffee tables, twirling in ruffled dresses, while singing “Broadway Baby, Daddy’s Little Girl” to the applause of her grandparents and family. Born with a keen business sense, she was already selling tickets to her shows. Katana soon discovered she loved making people happy, through music and performing.

Katana was also moved by the melodies of her Italian Mother, a gifted pianist whose faith was an integral part of her life. From an early age, Katana was surrounded by individuals in media and entertainment, due in part that her Grandmother managed Trinity Broadcasting Network, one of the largest Christian networks in the world. Therefore, she realized early on the power inspirational media has in transforming lives. Her exposure to individuals in these circles eventually found her performing before thousands of people with an apparent ease.

Eventually Katana developed a love for acting and was cast in leading roles. She was also chosen to be in an elite singing group as one of the main soloists, traveling throughout California performing vocally and winning numerous awards.

Katana found a sense of purpose in combining creative expression with philanthropy and humanitarianism. She would eventually travel the world bringing comfort to those in need, singing and speaking throughout schools, churches, events and fundraisers. Her fondest memories were in Mexico and throughout the UK, especially in her favorite London town. She cultivated her leadership and became recognized as an inspirational speaker, event organizer, and talent recruiter. She later formed teams of youths, who traveled with her abroad, and over the years has faithfully lent her talents to thriving non-profits. She has been a guest performer for numerous events and organizations, including The Red Cross, Make A Wish Foundation, CHOMP Hospital and many others.

In 2010, Katana created and produced “One Voice,” an epic non-profit event that brought together singers, artists, bands, actors, and dancers by incorporating video and technology. She organized the event for three years, as it consistently drew larger crowds.

In 2012, Katana stepped into her Producing role for the TV show, “Now is Your Time”, with Jolene Kennedy, featured on Warner Brothers. She also created, wrote and recorded the inspiring theme song and the show ran for over five years. She was also featured as the musical guest, which aired her singing on each episode. She was later asked to travel and perform live at events with the Motivational Speaker for meetings throughout California.

Katana’s extensive work as a talent scout and event organizer eventually lent itself to the creation of K & Co. Media. The company is a full-service agency that works with artists, musicians, and entertainers, offering marketing, artist management, talent strategy, brand elevation, social media, PR, and event planning. With satellite offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, Carmel, New York, Paris and many more, K & Co. Media has worked with artists and companies, including Brian McKnight, Diana Ross, Alex Rodriguez, “Arod”, Leigh Steinberg (‘The Original Jerry Maguire”, Daymond John, Tim Storey, Josh Altman, Matt Cusson, Warner Brothers Pictures, George Lopez, Peter White, Al Stewart, John Madden, Steve Mariucci, Chanel, Vera Wang, NFL and NBA Players, Arnold Palmer, and others.

For 15 years, Katana has been an integral part of the hit group Zenith Nadir, recording singles and tracks for ears the world over. Her songs with Zenith Nadir have become ring tones in Japan, London, and Italy, with millions of plays, and have been picked up by award-winning techno house producers. Her original singles “Waiting”, “Forever” – a beautiful five-track EP with mixes by Kwamai, and collaborations with DJ Matt Williams—and “Come Alive” were chosen for TV and an award winning album.

Driven by the urge to dig deeper into her own artistic calling and persuaded by friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry, Katana is presently stepping more fully into her own inner virtuoso.

She has teamed up with artists throughout her career, from co-writing songs and performing vocals, back-ups, duets, and voice-overs, as well as writing and singing jingles for commercials.

In 2017, Katana became the global Ambassador for World Radiance International, where she focuses on raising awareness for underprivileged youth in Africa and throughout the world. She is the organization’s official ambassador for the United States, with a special focus on empowering youth.

In 2024, Katana Natasha founded Starrider Foundation, a dedicated non-profit music and arts foundation discovering talent in the most unusual places.

Katana is currently working on the release of her new album with a talented Producer and will be announcing the title and music soon.

She is also creating music and collaborative projects with Film Composer/Orchestrator Jeff Atmajian, best known for his work on The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The Dark Knight, The Bucket List, Maleficent, and You’ve Got Mail, among hundreds of others. She is also working with three-time multi-Emmy winning Composer John Wineglass and many other notable Grammy winning Producers in the industry.

Sitting on a lifetime of commercial television and professional singing experience, Katana is excited to embark on all of her creative endeavors as she steps out onto the world’s stage. Most recently, she has accepted the lead role in a powerful new movie where the Director shares how many lives will be touched by this impactful story. She has also been chosen to write original music to be featured in global film projects.

Katana is involved with several film and publishing endeavors aimed at bettering our world through music and philanthropy, inspiring hope.
